About Mischa Barton
Mischa Barton is a British-Irish-American film, television, and stage actress. She began her career on the stage, appearing in Tony Kushner's Slavs! and took the lead in James Lapine's Twelve Dreams at New York City's Lincoln Center. She became a pop-icon by playing Marissa Cooper in the OC. A big magic fan, she regularly helps out magicians she is friends with by appearing as their guest assistant in illusions such as being sawed in half or beheaded by a guillotine. She has estimated that she has been sawed in half over 500 times, including a couple of times by magician David Copperfield, and beheaded around 300 times.
In 2007, she appeared fully nude in the movie Closing The Ring.
